WHR: What’s On Deck – June 2017

on

Hey,

I had every intention of having this out yesterday but I took a lovely trip to the ER. When I say there is not enough coffee to deal with that on a Monday, there really is not. I literally posted my promotions for the day and then had my mom drive me over. More to that story but I won’t go into it. For now, I’m fine. So let’s get on to the good stuff.

If you haven’t checked my Queue to Review, check there also because it changes. For now, this is what I know I have up coming but the QTR is always there and always up to date as well. What I’ve already read and what is in line for actual review. Just a general FYI, I have always got a Cambria Hebert book in my review pile. Right now I have four, two of which I don’t even have on the QTR list. (Her books are my obsession!)

What’s on Deck!

Most of these are ARCs still, with a few things I couldn’t wait to read thrown it. It’s also not everything, so for the thing I missed on the graphics, I’ll try to toss in the book covers.

These next ones make me feel like I’m having a battle of sports romances, or abs, either way.

Things I also still have in the ARC pile for this month:

LastSemester

I started reading Last Semester and stopped. My head just wasn’t in it yet.

I finally read and finished Pour Your Heart Out. It’s only been on my shelf for over a year. I’ll admit, I almost kept forgetting it was there, which is something I’m kicking mysel for because I really really enjoyed this one, you guys. We’re talking 4.5 to 5 stars really liked and I’ve gotten stingy with my 5 stars over the last year.

This is another ARC I aready have read that was fantastic. The review should be up in the next few days. (No, really because I want to read the next one!)

Up top you’ll notice The Bandit by B.B. Reid. That one is read as well and ready for review.

I currently have 6 NetGalley ARCs on deck and one that isn’t. Also a super secret beta read that I only wish I could tell you all about. Then for the rest of the month it’s going to be me reading random things. I haven’t had the chance to do that in awhile, not things I know I’ll read and review for fun, not just mark that I read it on Goodreads.

Anyway that’s what is on deck for now. I know I’m likely forgetting stuff. I think I may go back to a huge seasonal TBR but that can get overwhelming for people skimming it.

I hope y’all have great June! ❤

Thanks. You know how it goes, life happens. I just wish life would chill out. 😉 Alternatively, it gave me more time to read.

I haven’t made it to Blocked yet but I did get Pour Your Heart Out and Cross Checked finished. Really liked both of those.

I’m trying to get to that one and dragging my feet. LOL I some how always do this with the ones I really like. Writing up two reviews today, so will probably hide and read the rest later.

I’m still on strick “You must rest.” orders, so at least I have books to keep me entertained.
