WHR Synopsis

Asher:

When most people first set eyes on me they assume I’m a delinquent, a thug, or at the very least that I’m in a band. But, looks can be deceiving. I never thought I’d get sick of random hook ups with more than willing college co-eds, but that scene is getting old. And, I really never expected to fall for an adorable, sexy, shy…virgin. But, sometimes things don’t turn out how you expect.

Eve:

Super virgin…that’s me. I’ve never kissed a boy, heck I’ve never even been on a date before. How I ended up catching the eye of a sexy, tattooed playboy at my very first college party I’ll never know. He’s way out of my league…but maybe it’s finally my chance to let loose a little and find out who I really am. That’s what college is for, right?

I’m going to be very up front here, I had to go back and read Naughty Angel by K.M. Neuhold a second time before I could review it. It had been a good year since I had originally read it and I’d forgotten the storyline. I’m happy I did the reread, though, because this book is awesome!

Typically when I do a review, I go to find the book on Amazon. Sometimes covers change and in thise case, the cover had changed for Naughty Angel. I was sort of making a pouty face when I first saw this, because I loved the original book cover. Then I got to looking at the new cover for Naughty Angel and I’m completely enamoured with it. If you’ve read this book, that new cover makes complete and utter sense.

Let’s get to the book! Naugthy Angel is told from an alternative first person point-of-view between the main characters, Asher and Eve. While part of a series, it can be read as a standalone, and yes, it does have an HEA. I’ll throw out there that it’s also currently on Kindle Unlimited for those who have it.

The synopsis of the book covers a lot of ground as far as I could tell you review wise what the book is about. That is blurb is well done. The story of Asher and Eve, itself, is one that will catch your attention and suck you in.

Asher is the guy that feels like no one sees me. They take him at face value, they only see the tattoo and piercings. They don’t see the super smart guy with an IQ off the charts. I have to admit, I think out of all the books I read so far in this series, Asher is my favorite. He just has something about him that makes you want to wrap him up and hug him.

Eve has been sheltered her whole life and wants to break out. She wants to experience college, friends, have a job, anything but what she’s been told all her life that is wrong. It is a lot of fun to see her grow, as a character and a person. Reading while she tries new things you’re sitting there going “Oh, no, no no.” but you still want her to do it. In particular, the situtation with a third character in the book will raise your eyebrows.

Now, mentioning that third character! Asher and Eve are already trying to figure things out between themselves, so no, there is no cheating in this book! I want to make that clear. The third character comes in as part of the storyline and adds a bit of intrigue and suspense to the book.

I’d recommend Naughty Angel again and again. In fact, K.M. Neuhold has become one of those authors that I one-click books for if I see them out or if she’s written something new. I’d encourage you to check out her other novels as well!

A 5 Star read x2!
