WHR Synopsis

That’s what happens when you get married.
Turns out sparkly rings, cake and a fantastic wedding do not automatically grant you that, not even when it’s all you truly want.
I’m even starting to doubt the bottomless, unconditional love I share with the man I married will be enough.
I can’t have happily ever after, know why?
Because I can’t give Romeo what he truly wants. I’ve tried. So hard. I won’t be happy unless he is and something is missing. Someone.
Paparazzi are in my face. The flashing cameras and prying eyes are everywhere. My secret is getting harder to hide, and I know the second the scoop is dished the grip I have on the fraying rope of that happily ever after will snap right in my face.
In our face.
I can’t let that happen. No matter what.
Because with or without a happy ending, Romeo comes Before Anyone Else.

This review has been a long time in coming! #BAE by Cambria Hebert is the 8th book in the Hashtag series. The surprise of it was, no one knew about it. We, the fans, weren’t expecting it and it completely took us off guard. Literally, Cambria Snapchatted one heck of a teaser and all our mouths dropped.

I don’t have a long review for this book, and that is intentional because to fully review it, is to give away so many things. So I’ll say this much. This is NOT a standalone novel. Not even remotely. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. 😛

#BAE, as with the other novels in this series, is told from an alternative first person point-of-view. You get the whole gang in here, Romeo, Rimmel, Ivy, Braeden, they’re all back for one final go. I would say that this book is sort of the epilogue to the epilogue.

I went through so many feels with this book. It wraps up the series perfectly. I have no more questions about what, who, etc in it. I’ll admit to bawling my eyes out, too. Who wants to really leave characters they’ve grown to love? No one! Also, it helps that we got a spinoff series in GearShark, and so we sort of got to visit or hear of the characters in the #Hashtag series at times.

Overall, obviously, a 5 Star book, but not just that, a 5 Star series. If you haven’t read it, I’d encourage you to go back and start at #Nerd. You really won’t regret it and if you don’t fall in lover with these characters, I’d be amazed.

5 star
