Stationary Book Tag!

It’s 2 AM, I can’t sleep … Let’s do a tag!

Thank you so much Andie @ Books, Coffee & Passion  for tagging me! I love book tags and frankly, I haven’t done one in ages. It’s a bit of a nice change!

And thank you RiverMooseReads for creating this fun tag.

The Rules:

  • Thank the creator: Sam @ RiverMooseReads
  • Answer the questions.
  • Add pictures! (If you want to)
  • Tag (about) 5 people.

Pencils || Favorite MG or children’s book

The Witch of Blackbird Pond <– Will take you to the Goodreads page. 😉 This is one of those books I read repeatedly when I was younger. I’m not sure why I was so attached to it, there are a lot of factors in the book. There is a young romance, an outsider feeling, an orphan trying to fit in when she’s like a peacock in the middle of a heard of buffalo, a whole religion twist thrown in there, plus a witch hunt. That’s what it was when I was younger.

As I’m older now, I look at the book completely different. I catch things in it now that I didn’t then, it teaches you so many things. It teaches you about acceptance, judgement, right and wrong.

Pens || A basic staple for any reader

This one is actually tough for me. I didn’t go the typical book path, I never read a ton of the classics and to be truthful, I still don’t. Believe it or not, I’m going to go with Gone With the Wind.

Notebooks || What books do you own multiple copies of

This question is almost too easy! I have multiple series of multiple copies! If I just choose one it would currently be The Fall Away Series by Penelope Douglas. It’s a hard chose between that and The Hashtag Series because both are absolute favorites. Seriously, I couldn’t ever choose between them but I want to use the # for a different question. Sooo… 😉 I have both the eBooks and the paperbacks of these books! Why? I don’t want to bend the actual books spines. >_> I’ve been hunting down the hardbacks!

Markers || A book with a beautiful cover

Another hard one for me. There are many books that I think have gorgeous covers. Lately, The Siren by Kiera Cass has stuck out to me. NOT only The Siren, but all the books in this series have amazing covers.

Glue || Two characters that work well together even if they aren’t together

Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy! If you’ve ever read The Hashtag Series, you’ll know about Rimmel and her BBFL (Big Brother for Life) Braeden. Love these two!

(Yes, Hardcore Nerds! I know it’s missing #Holiday & #Bae!! For non Nerds, #Holiday & #Bae come after #Heart. #Holiday is a Novella, and #Bae was actually never supposed to be written! The fans asked for it though, almost daily, so it was written! Also, #Bae does not mean poop unless you’re looking at the Danish definition lol. It actually means Before Anyone Else.)

Scissors || What book would you like to destroy

Oh.. Oh.. If you’ve ever seen ONE particular book on my blog that I reviewed and the review did not go well, it would be Maid For the Rockstar. Destroy is an apt word for it, although now I sort of look at it all with humor. Even if the book still makes me want to hurl my Kindle across a room and smother myself with a pillow. I couldn’t finished it after a certain point. I couldn’t even write  the review in a constructive way, I didn’t trust myself … I literally, at the time, used .gifs to make my point. The link will take you to the review, not GR, I’d never recommend it to anyone. If it hadn’t been an ARC I would have never put the review up.

Art kit || What completed series do you own

How long do y’all have? 😛 I’m squinting at my bookshelf. Twilight, The Hashtag Series, Fall Away series, Marked Men series, The Blackdagger Brotherhood (Plus the companion books), The Take It Off series, Fallen Crest Series, Woodlands series, Midnight Kisses series, Lora Leigh’s Breeds series (It has over 30 books at this point I think, I’d need to count.) The Celta series … I really could go on and on. I buy books in full series when I can, I can’t stand NOT finishing a series. These are just the ones I can see from where I’m sitting … Without my glasses on.
