❢C is for Cambria❢ A-to-Z Challenge April 2016

C is for Cambria!

You may be wondering at this point, who is Cambria? Well, Cambria Hebert is one of my absolute favorite authors. She is self-published and her writing is wonderful beyond words. She can make me laugh, she can make me cry, and this woman can just flat out give you the feels. If she writes something, I have to have it and I have to read it. (Usually in under a twenty-four hour period.)

Not only is she a wonderful writer, but a genuinely good person as well. She takes times for her fans and goes very far out of her way to show them just how much she appreciates their support.

So my C for the A-to-Z Challenge is all about Cambria and her wonderful books! I will list them all below, with links, and a bit more about Cambria herself. She has multiple series out, one of them being a compilation of standalone novels.

If you’re looking for a new book series to start, I’m going to direct you to #Nerd. It sat on my TBR for months, yelling my name. Once I opened it up, I was hooked. You can also find my review of it on WHR.

Enough rambling! Let’s get to the goodies! The books! (These are in no particular order, but are grouped via series.)

The Hashtag series – This starts with #Nerd, there are also reviews for every single book in this series on WHR. Fall into the world of Alpha U, and meet some fabulous characters. I can almost bet you won’t walk away from this series without having, at least, ONE book hangover.

GearShark series – I’m intentionally putting this one right under the Hashtag series. Why? Because they are different series, but linked. You’ll find the characters from the Hashtag series in here, but this is a spin-off  underground racing series. The first two books so far have also been M/M. This series melts my heart and if nothing else, teaches you that love has nothing to do with gender. Love is Love! (Two my knowledge, there will be two more books in this series!)

The Take It Off series – There are ten of these to date, they are all standalone novels, but you will figure out that some of them are about characters that you’ve read in other TIO books. Does that mean you need to read them all in order? Nope! Complete standalones. Also, because they are all so different, it is hard to give each a short description however, Cambria has a video on her YouTube channel that does go through them! I’ve still got two in this series to read! I’m sort of hoarding the for when I get stuck book wise.

The Heven & Hell series – Not a series I’ve gotten a chance to dive into but one I’m hoping to soon. To my knowledge, this series is YA friendly. (The synopsis explains better than I can on this one.) I also just figured out that this series is currently on Kindle Unlimited.

The Death Escorts series – Another Cambria series I haven’t yet but am dying to sink my teeth into! (As with above, the synopsis will explain better than I can.)

Distant Desires – I want to say there is only one book in this, but it’s in three parts. I’m not positive though. It is on my TBR list though. This one is definitely not YA safe!!

Now for the singles and standalones without series. 😀

Maneater – This one is recent and a total 80’s novel! It -is- part of a bigger series called Love in the 80’s, the books are all not written by Cambria but various authors. I loved this book so much that I really wish there were more of them that she’d written.

Blank – You know, I’m not sure about this novel, or what it is about. The extent of my knowledge? Short adult paranormal novel. It’s been sitting on my Kindle for awhile, though. I like to think it will be a surprise when I get to it.

Mr. X – Last but definitely not the least, Cambria has taken part in an anthology called Pink Shades of Words. All proceeds from this book benefit the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer through the Fifty Shades of Pink team. Also only available for a limited time.

I’m very likely missing some books in there, but I’ll add this as I figure out what they are!! I think I’ve got most of them.

About Cambria

Cambria Hebert is a bestselling novelist of more than twenty books. She went to college for a bachelor’s degree, couldn’t pick a major, and ended up with a degree in cosmetology. So rest assured her characters will always have good hair. She currently resides in North Carolina.

Besides writing, Cambria loves a caramel latte, staying up late, sleeping in, and watching movies. She considers math human torture and has an irrational fear of chickens (yes, chickens). You can often find her running on the treadmill (she’d rather be eating a donut), painting her toenails (because she bites her fingernails), or walking her chorkie (the real boss of the house).

Cambria has written within the young adult and new adult genres, penning many paranormal and contemporary titles. Her favorite genre to read and write is romantic suspense. A few of her most recognized titles are: #Nerd, Text, Torch, Tryst, Masquerade, and Recalled.

Cambria Hebert owns and operates Cambria Hebert Books, LLC.
