Would You Rather {Book Tag}

would you ratherHey y’all!

So, I’ve been tagged in “Would You Rather” book tag by the lovely Miss Kate @ Crazy Antics Reviews. I sort of boggled at first like, ‘What do I do!?” because I can’t say I’ve ever been tagged in anything like this before and it was completely unexpected! I’ve decided to have fun with it and I like the questions! So, without further ado, the questions.

★ The Questions: ★

★ Would you rather only read trilogies or only read standalones?

I’m actually a big fan of series in general, however, they have to be able to be read as a standalone. No cliffhangers! This new one book in three parts as a serial thing? It’s for the birds.

★ Would you rather only read male or female authors?

Not too long ago, I’d have told you I had a preference for female authors, and the majority of the time I do. There are some great male authors out there though.

★ Would you rather shop at Barnes and Noble or Amazon?

There is no question on this for me, I’m a huge Amazon fan when it comes to my books. I have a Kindle though, and that feeds into it.

★ Would you rather books were made into TV shows or movies?

I really have no preference here as long as I watch the movie before I read the book. Once I’ve read the book, I can guarantee you I will not like the movie. TV shows I’m iffy on, I don’t watch a lot of TV, my head is usually in a book, so it’s mostly a moot point.

★ Would you rather read only 5 pages per day or 5 books per week?

I’m not even sure this is a valid question for a lover of books. 😉 Easily, I’d rather read five books per week.

★ Would you rather be a professional author or reviewer?

I would much rather be a reviewer. I love books and stories and all the goodness that comes with them, but writing reviews is actually hard enough for me. I love it, but it’s still hard for me to consolidate my thoughts on a book to talk about it.

★ Would you rather be a librarian or a bookseller?

Hands down, I would rather be a bookseller. I love the freedom of discussing books with people and not having to worry about the volume of my voice if I get excited over things. 😉

★ Would you rather read only your favorite genre, or ever other genre but your favorite?

My favorite, of course! I don’t think I’d read nearly as much if it weren’t my favorite genre, and we’d surely not have a blog here if I read anything else.

★ Would you rather only read e-books or physical books?

I love and miss physical books but I haven’t read one in probably three years. My Kindle is my constant side kick. It also means I don’t have piles of books all over my room, and lets be honest.. ebooks are cheaper.

Would you rather only read trilogies or only read standalones? I don’t have a preference. I just love to read!

Would you rather only read male or female authors? I have a personal male author I love very much. His name is Sylvain Reynard. He is an exquisite writer. But, I read both.

Would you rather shop at Barnes and Noble or Amazon? Amazon for me.

Would you rather books were made into TV shows or movies? Movie

Would you rather read only 5 pages per day or 5 books per week? 5 books per week.

Would you rather be a professional author or reviewer? I enjoy reviewing. But, my goal is to one day get published. I am currently working on a book. Stay tuned.

Would you rather be a librarian or a bookseller? Bookseller, I would love to own a bookstore.

Would you rather read only your favorite genre, or ever other genre but your favorite? I prefer to stick to my favorite genre. Although, I do stray and read other genres occasionally.

Would you rather only read e-books or physical books? I love the feel of real books. But, I read mostly on my Kindle because of the ease of carrying it around. I did find myself touching the page of a real book last night and hoping it would turn, LOL. I thought I was on my Kindle. I did enjoy the real book. I was able to add post it notes and highlight with a real highlighter. 🙂

Thanks for tagging me on this post.
